Alumni Ball – FAQs

The Alumni Ball offers the perfect chance to reunite with contemporaries, bring friends and loved ones to College and celebrate everything that has made Oriel uniquely special for seven centuries. We have included a few frequently asked questions below, if you need any further information please contact us on events@oriel.ox.ac.uk

How can I book tickets?

All alumni will receive a save the date email, notifying them of when tickets will be released. We recommend adding the date and time to your diary! When tickets are available, you will be able to book them on this webpage and another email will be sent letting you know they are live. Please ensure your contact details are up to date with us so you don’t miss out! You can let us know your contact details using our Update Details Form.

How many tickets can I buy?

Each alumnus may purchase up to 4 tickets. Guests must be 18+ and do not need to be alumni. This is a great chance to bring partners and friends to Oriel!

What information do I need to have to hand when booking?

When booking tickets we recommend knowing all guest names, access and dietary requirements.

Can I book a room in College?

Unfortunately accommodation is not available in College for these events. Discounts on accommodation are available to Oxford alumni and can be found on the University website. Alternatively rooms in other Colleges can be found via University Rooms.

Is there a schedule of entertainment?
Yes, we’ll be announcing a full programme for the evening closer to the event. To stay up to date with details as we announce them, you can refer back to the Alumni Ball webpage and join the Oriel Alumni LinkedIn Group.

What is the dress code?
Dress to Impress!

Is parking available?
There is no parking available and nearby parking is limited. Please make travel arrangements with this in mind.
