The annual Adam de Brome Lunch will be taking place on Saturday, 16 March 2024 from 10.30am. Members of the Adam de Brome Society are warmly welcomed, with their guests, to attend.
Prior to the Lunch, we will hear from Honorary Associate of the Museum of Natural History, Philip Powell (1958, Geology). Philip will speak on “The Stones of Oriel” where he will give an insight into the materials that make up Oriel’s buildings. There will also be updates from Oriel’s Treasurer and Development Director.
Following the talk, we will hold a celebratory lunch in Senior Library from 1pm, with drinks in the Large SCR from 12.30pm. We will hear from the Provost and our Adam de Brome Fellow, John Cook (1965, History). The event is free to attend, and can be booked using the form below. This will be the first Adam de Brome Lunch ever held in the Senior Library, our dining space whilst works are being carried out in the kitchens, so is an occasion not to be missed!
