An intimate night of Jazz with Gwilym Simcock and Nick Smart

To celebrate Oriel’s 700th anniversary, Oriel Fellow and Director of Music David Maw has organised a series of concerts featuring our past Visiting Fellows in Music.

Internationally acclaimed jazz and classical pianist Gwilym Simcock will be joined by Grammy Award-nominated trumpeter Nick Smart for this intimate concert. Together they will play music by Gwilym Simcock and Kenny Wheeler.

The concert will take place on Friday 23 October at 8pm in Oriel’s Senior Library. Please note, the Senior Library is accessible only via a steep staircase.
