Gilbert White’s House and Garden Tour

On Saturday, 21 June Orielenses and their family and friends are invited to join a tour of Gilbert White’s House and Gardens.

During the day Current DPhil student Steph Holt will lead a tour of her exhibition Curious Minds: Thomas Pennant and Gilbert White. The exhibition explores the conversation between two notable alumni of Oriel College and prominent 18th century naturalists Gilbert White and Thomas Pennant, and their impact on natural history.

Your ticket will grant you access to the Gilbert White House and Gardens, which you are free to explore during the day. There is a café onsite for refreshments, and you are also very welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy in the grounds.
