Robin has 28 years of experience in the commercial IT sector and then a further 12 years doing Internet-related technical advocacy. Most of his roles have been European or global in scope, and they have varied from IT technical support, through technical pre-sales, to consulting, and high-level government advocacy (engaging with the UK Parliament, European Commission, African Union and other policy fora). Robin has also mentored Masters students and PhD candidates on their industry outreach projects.
