Open Gardens – Radcot House

Please note that this event has been postponed following the sad news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Please contact us on events@oriel.ox.ac.uk if you have any questions.

We are pleased to invite Orielenses and one guest to an evening garden visit with refreshments generously hosted by Robin Stainer (1967) at his home on the Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire borders on Saturday, 10 September 2022. Join us from 6pm at Radcot House, with approximately three acres of beautiful gardens to explore.

The Stainer’s garden includes dramatic yet harmonious planting in lights and shade, a formal pond, and fruit and vegetable cages. Convenient seating at key points enables relaxed observation and reflection. There is an extensive use of grasses and unusual perennials as well as interesting sculptural surprises.

Robin will be giving a talk on the garden, and refreshments will be provided for all guests (wine, soft drinks, canapés etc). Ample parking is available. For more information regarding the house and gardens please click here.

If you have any questions please contact us on events@oriel.ox.ac.uk.

Photographs may be taken throughout the event, which may then be used in our print/digital communications and/or social media. If you would prefer that your image was not used, please e-mail development.office@oriel.ox.ac.uk
